“Therapy” is a term covering many approaches to suffering, health and self-exploration. The euphemistic nature of the word can make deciding what you want or need, difficult. I am often asked what the difference is between psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, psychology and psychiatry, or why make an appointment to see a psychotherapist rather than a counsellor?
